The Weaver Equestrian Riding Club rule changes for dressage and showjumping as voted in at AGM with effect from 23/01/2020
The BRC Handbook contains everything you need to know to compete in official Riding Club competitions, including what you and your horse are allowed to wear, eligibility criteria and rules for all the different qualifiers and Championships.
‘Protective Headwear’ must be worn at all times when mounted. This document provides details on BRC current accepted standards. If competing at a BRC area qualifier or championship your riding hat / helmet must satisfy these standards otherwise you will not be able to compete. If you have any questions please contact a member of the committee. Additional information can be found in the BRC handbook.
When competing in BRC qualifiers or championships, a body protector is obligatory in all cross-country competitions (including arena eventing) and is strongly recommended by BRC in show jumping competitions. This document specifies the standard of body protector required. Additional information can be found in the BRC handbook.
